Excluding a component from the hatching

Important!

To edit the hatching you have to be at he Layout tab, and you can call the hatch menu after double left click on the view's hatch.

Comment

First choose the component which you want to edit:

X-Section: Whole view's hatch
XComponent: one component
X-Area: a component's selected area (useful at e.g.: Seeger-ring)

Next you pick the selected component with the Pick or step through each part (Next, Previous) and click with middle button.
Then you can edit the hatch like in the part drawing (Spacing, Angle).
If you want to exclude one part use the Exclude (it will not section the part, e.g.: bolts) or Erase (delete the component from the view) command. The Exclude/Erase can be revoked by the Restore/Show command. With the Retrieve command you can get different hatch styles (e.g.: for polymers). With the Fill command you can fill out the whole part.
